As a voter, I believe that any candidate who refuses to sign the Reject the Debt pledge commits himself to the unsustainable status quo. The era of promises is over; the time to act is now.

Therefore, in order to secure the long-term prosperity of our nation, I pledge that I will neither support nor vote for any candidate who refuses to work seriously toward eliminating our national debt.
